Welcome to the Eccleston Park Tennis Club website. Here you will find a range of information about one of the oldest sports facilities in St Helens.
With LTA affliated coaches both Juniors and adults can participate in group or individual sessions. Junior coaching sessions take place on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings and are very well attended by children from 5yrs old and up. Adult coaching sessions take place on Thursday and Friday evenings and are avilable for all standards and abilities.
EPLTC is in the Metropolitan Borough of St Helens and is situated just off St Helens Road on the way to Prescot. It has been in existence for over a century and is a very friendly, very social tennis club. We have five courts, three shale and two hard courts plus a large traditional clubhouse and bar.
We welcome members of all standards and have a thriving junior section. For those who like to play competitive tennis there are four men’s teams and two ladies teams.
The club is open throughout the day and throughout the year. Club social sessions take place on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons while there are regular one-day tournaments open to all club members which take place at weekends.
Regular social events are held throughout the year which are particularly well attended.
There are plans to re-develop the club with new courts and floodlights and any help in these areas would be welcomed
